Project Manager

Job Description:

The Project is the primary point of contact for one or more customers. The responsibilities of this position will change for each project, depending on the needs of the customer, the project, and the team.

• Develop Project Proposal (using corporate guidelines), manage and track tasks and milestones.
• Develop regular reports for the customer.
• Coordinate entire installation process and phases.
• Continually evaluate/monitor customer’s satisfaction with systems.
• Coordinate any necessary enhancement/up-grades/demonstrations/prototypes.
• Identify problems and coordinate tasks necessary to solve them. (This may include interdepartmental task coordination).
• Manage the generation of all necessary reports and tracking systems.

Job Requirements:

• BS/BA or degree in business, computer science or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of previous experience in complex project management.
• Strong management, presentation, planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A self-starter who is able to work independently.
• Ability to handle multiple projects at one time.
• Ability to set up training.
• Knowledge of spreadsheet, work processing software, and project management software.
• Knowledge of computer networking and relational database systems.
• Must be able to travel frequently, have own transportation, and be on call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Product Manager

Job Description:

In this product management role, most work will be done in a team environment across multiple departments. Activities will include research and analysis of external customer requirements; competitive analysis; suggestion and justification of product enhancements; requirements definition; regular field communications such as the product roadmap, responding to product questions; sales training; enhancement request management; documentation review; and writing of white papers and presentations.

Job Requirements:

• At least 5 years of project management experience, at least 3 years with teams of 50+ or more or resources.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Project, Project Central, Excel, Perforce or equivalent version control software, Devtrack or equivalent issue tracking software.
• Excellent managerial skills
• Self-motivated and have a strong work ethic
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience administrating a source controlled environment
• Java or HTML programming skills, C/C++ helpful
• At least 2 years of programming experience working in software development.

Database Architect

Job Description:

• Architect, implement, and maintain DataMarts, reporting tools and
• Be responsible for ensuring that performance, drill down capabilities, and usability satisfy business requirements and customers’ needs.
• Propose and implement strategies for data retention and data validation.
• Design database schemas to optimize data storage and data reporting.
• Proactively resolve issue, and avoid re-occurrence through both enhancements/fixes or process changes. Aid the in the development of client-server software for new business requirements.
• Work as an integral member of a high performance team. Estimate schedules for projects undertaken and complete them on time, while adhering to customer requirements, specifications, and quality standards.
• Assist with other team members in resolving technical issues. Work closely with Quality engineers in unit level testing, stress testing and problem resolution. Track and correct defects and help fellow team members in diagnosing problem areas.

Job Requirements:

• BS (or higher) in CS, Mathematics, or equivalent background.
• 5+ years experience with architecting and supporting large reporting systems. Expert level with at least one of Oracle, DB2, MS SQL, Sybase, MS SQL and very high level with at least 2 of the others.
• Expert understanding of Data Warehouse and DataMart concepts and available technologies.
• Hands on experience with one or more of the following technologies: Business Objects, SSAS/SSRS, Office 2007 Excel reporting.
• Data mining experience a plus.
• Statistical and analytical skills highly desirable.
• Willingness to learn and new and alternate tools and technologies as required.
• Candidate must excel at working in a team environment, communicating and listening effectively, and motivating the team to success.

Senior Applications UI Engineer

Job Description:

• Organize, design, develop and implement web application UI, layouts, styles and associated templates using HTML/CSS/JavaScript/JSP/Java (and occasionally Flash) – As we refine our UI & design strategy with a view to giving our clients more control, assist in the design and development of easy-to-use back end design and layout tools
• Implement client specified look and feel on community products
• Develop UI display and control components
• Develop and implement standalone web sites with hooks into our community products

Job Requirements:

• A strong sense of UI and general design principles
• Minimum 3 years experience as a software engineer with a UI emphasis
• Excellent HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills
• Working knowledge of tag-based environments, especially JSP
• Familiarity with flash — working knowledge is a plus
• Familiarity with other Java-based presentation layer technologies such as Velocity or FreeMarker is an asset
• Working knowledge of AJAX and related DHTML technologies
• Productivity (gets projects done in hours, days and weeks, not weeks days and years)
• Proven ability to work Independently or with small teams
• Strong organization skills: able to coordinate with other coders in a complex environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• B.S. in Computer Science (or equivalent), M.S. desirable
